The mission of the Master’s study programme “Marketing” is training a new generation of highly qualified marketers in an innovative way of thinking, systematic knowledge and advanced competencies in the field of marketing management, which are necessary for working successfully in international, foreign and Ukrainian companies, state and municipal authorities as heads and leading specialists of marketing departments, as well as for creating their own successful businesses in both domestic and international markets.

We incorporate European approaches and quality standards of higher education. It is the first and the only Master’s programme in Marketing in Ukraine which is accredited at the international level by ZEvA agency, Hannover (Germany). ZEvA’s experts have recognized its compliance with European standards and the Bologna requirements.

Results of mastery of the study programme: acquisition of systematic knowledge and skills in advanced marketing management technologies required for developing competencies of a Master in Marketing operating in both international and domestic markets.

Programme requirements (ECTS credits).

In accordance with the Standard on Higher Education set for the programme Marketing (Master’s degree), 90 ECTS credits are awarded in total. The curriculum of the programme Marketing (Master’s degree) incorporates: mandatory courses (35 ECTS credits) including course paper (1 ECTS credit) and elective courses (25 ECTS credits). Practical training which includes internship – 12 ECTS credits. Master’s thesis (18 ECTS credits)

Educational goals of the programme.

General goal of the study programme Marketing (Master’s degree) is to train, in line with European educational standards, competitive professionals in marketing for organizations and enterprises of all spheres of economic activity, which are able to implement marketing decisions into enterprise management process and have practical skills in using marketing policy mechanisms to achieve business goals.

The programme’s educational goals are designed to:

  • ensure training of Masters in Marketing using a competency based approach to the education process in accordance with modern European educational standards and requirements of the national and global labour market;
  • provide students with systematic knowledge and skills in advanced marketing management technologies required for formation of the competences of Master in Marketing
  • train qualified professionals who are able independently find relevant ways to achieving the most important strategic objectives of an organization, develop marketing plans, monitor the cost effectiveness of marketing;
  • develop in students a modern outlook on the role of marketing in organizations as a means of integrating the various functions of a company in order to improve its efficiency in meeting the strategic objectives of the business;
  • teach students to use the full range of analytical tools of marketing and information technology for research and making strategic and tactical solutions;
  • develop graduates as mature social individuals capable of solving complex communications challenges and social activities within their competence;
  • develop in the study process the skills to control the organizational units, teams of experts, projects and programmes, management skills concerning small and medium enterprises;
  • improve thelearning skillsthat enablegraduates tocontinue their studyin accordancewith the concept of"lifelong learning" in a manner that may be largely self-directed or autonomous.
